Thank you to everyone who attended my SSIS best practices presentation today! I hope that you found it useful and are able to apply something from it to your SSIS development.
Below are links to the slide deck and a ZIP file containing the demos if you would like to try running them on your own. The demo files are set up to run in a C:\SSISDemos\ folder. If you run them from a different location you will just need to modify the paths to the Excel files. The demos also assume that you are running SQL Server locally (localhost), and that will need to be modified if that isn't the case. A SQL script has also been provided in the ZIP file that will create the SSIS_DEMO database and tables that I used.
Please feel free to e-mail me at the e-mail address in the slides if you have any questions or if you need any assistance getting the demos running.

Creating maps in SQL Server Reporting Services - SQLSaturday #193
Thank you to everyone who attended my presentation on using spatial data in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) today! I hope that I was able to show everyone at least one new thing that they will be able to use in their own reports in the future.
I have included a link below to my PowerPoint slide deck, a (SQL Server 2012) backup of the database, and the shapefiles that I used. The slides have notes that might be helpful, particularly the demo slides - I have included step by step instructions that you can use to walk through the demos again.

Please e-mail me with any questions that you might have, and also please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn if you're on there.
