Allegheny County results reflected state-wide results, in which Democrat David Wecht was elected to the Pennsylvania Superior Court while Republican Anne Covey won a position on the state Commonwealth Court.

Basic SSIS Best Practices

Thank you to everyone who attended our SSIS Best Practices presentation today! We hope that you found it useful and are able to apply something from our presentation to your SSIS development.

Below are links to our slide deck and a ZIP file containing our demos if you would like to try running them on your own. The demo files are set up to run in a C:\SSISDemos\ folder. If you run them from a different location you will just need to modify the paths to the Excel files. The demos also assume that you are running SQL Server locally (localhost), and that will need to be modified if that isn't the case. A SQL script has also been provided in the ZIP file that will create the SSIS_DEMO database and tables that we used.

2011 Municipal Primary: Flaherty vs Fitzgerald

On the Democratic side of the ballot, former County Councilman Rich Fitzgerald edged out Country Controller Mark Patrick Flaherty based largely on the strength of his results in the City of Pittsburgh.
